Estonian company is seeking a talented backend developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing sophisticated web applications using state-of-the-art technologies such as NodeJS/Express, MongoDB, and PHP/Laravel. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features and functionalities. Moreover, you will integrate external APIs and data sources, conduct thorough testing, and continuously explore innovative technologies to enhance our development process. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role. - Proficiency in NodeJS/Express, MongoDB, and microservices architecture. - Experience with testing frameworks such as Supertest/Jest. - Knowledge of WebSocket technology. - Experience working with AWS SDK and integrating third-party services like Sendgrid and Typekit. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of Git version control. - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good to Have: - Additional experience with other programming languages and frameworks, particularly PHP and Laravel. - Familiarity with Adobe scripting, compositions, ArtBoards, and layers. - Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and tools.
